Slap, bang! That is how we woke up this morning before six am as a ferry came in and created huge waves. The board connecting us to the shore had just fallen down with the wave hitting the boat and there was heart pumping pandemonium as waves continued to slam the boat….. What a way to wake up.

When our hearts settled down and the waves stopped slamming into the boat, we took note of our surroundings. It was dead calm and stunning, so not so sorry to be woken up early after all.

Watched a few small fishing boats go out while we had cappacinos at a nearby café. The sun is out, the sea is calm, and the town of Bol is looking beautiful.

After everyone was up and ready to go, we headed up the coast of Brac to a lovely inlet, close to the north end of Brac. We anchored in the bay. The water was so clear and calm, it was like swimming in a lake. We could see at least 40 feet down. Paddle boards, snorkeling, swimming, reading – it was a very relaxing day. Towards the end of the day, we went a little furhter north, turned the corner of the island between Solta and Brac, and headed into Milna for the night.

I will let the photos do the talking.
