After spending the night in Milna, we headed back to Split about mid morning. We tried to sail, but there was very little wind, and eventually that died, too.  Split shimmered in the distance and when we got there,  really hot – almost 80 degrees F.

That night, we had dinner on the waterfront of Split with Luka (from Prvic) and his mother, who lives in Split. It was a beautiful balmy evening. There were so many people milling about. As a pub crawl with hundreds of young adults passed us after our dinner, Shane spotted a few pretty girls in the group and the allure was too much, and he vanished into the crowd and joined them. He came back in the early hours of the morning as the sun was rising after dancing the night away at various clubs with the pub crawl group.  The resilience of youth!
