We drive to the town of Penzance to enjoy Jew Street Market and browse and enjoy all the stores there. Then we head over to St. Michael’s Mount.
The tide is still to deep when we get there to use the stone causeway to the castle on the mount, so we take a boat that is ferrying people back and forth. This is a private home where the St Aubyn family have lived since the 17th century. Part of the castle and priory are now open to the public and is managed by the National Trust. We explore and enjoy the castle and its vistas. By the time we are ready to go back, the tide is low enough for us to walk back across the causeway.
